Youki (ヨーキ Yōki?) is Ai's adoptive father who took Ai in after she lost her mother, and raised her with Anna like their own child. Youki has a different aura from the other villagers.
Background[]
Youki was the sole living human (excluding Ai, due to her being a gravekeeper) in the village, although this was changed in the anime version of Sunday Without God.
He died after being broken away from Anna, his wife. Although in the anime, he died after being killed by Hampnie Hambart
Personality[]
Youki was a caring man who tried to make everything normal for his adopted daughter, Ai. He would go great lengths to even confront the Man Eating Toy himself to protect the village, although failing to comromise him.

Anna - Youki's wife, she and Youki cared for Ai all the way until Hampnie's massacre of the village. They have genuine love for one another and express gratitude that they can have a child during this time period
Ai - Youki and Anna's adoptive daughter, they took great care of her, bringing her in when her mother died.

- It is revealed in Episode 3, that all villagers are actually dead already, and just pretending to be alive for Ai's sake.
- It is likely that he had been the only person alive in that village beside Ai in the manga.
- He commited suicide after Anna was killed by Hampnie Hambert in chapter 23.
